This season sends my mind back to long-ago vacations when I was young. Whether it was a true get-in-the-car, get-out-of-town vacation or playing at the park with other kids, it was a time for fun and more fun. Well, there was that one time when summer school came into the picture – gross! It seemed like every night, we would play outside until it was dark, then finally fall into bed, depleted from another day of fun. Didn’t it feel like summer lasted forever back then?
